Assist the inventory accountant and inventory manager so every stock movement, from feed and chicks to spares, packaging, and finished Pearl product, is posted in real time and can be defended at count.

The role
Key position responsibilities
- Capture goods received, transfers, issues, and returns the same day they happen.
- Reconcile store bin cards to the system; investigate variances before month-end, not after.
- Support cycle counts at Kigunga stores, the feed mill, and farm stores.
- Prepare GRNs, issue notes, and transfer documentation for audit.
- Follow up with farms, hatchery, and Pearl shops on unposted or delayed documents.
- Maintain a clean item master: units of measure, locations, and obsolete codes.
- Help close month-end inventory packs for Finance Manager – Services.
The role
Qualifications, skills & experience
- Diploma or degree in accounting, procurement, or stores management. CPA/ACCA part-qualified is an advantage.
- At least 1 year in inventory, stores, or cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing or agribusiness.
- Accurate, fast data entry and a working knowledge of Excel (lookups, pivots).
- Experience with an ERP or accounting package (Sage, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Willing to work from the Kigunga – Mukono office and visit stores on site.
